The Sanctuary at Equine Connection Center is a nonprofit that funds the care of the permanent sanctuary residents residing at Equine Connection Center in Nokesville, VA as well as supporting equine welfare initiatives across the state of Virginia through work with the Virginia Partnership for Horses.

Remi came to The Sanctuary at Equine Connection Center in February 2025 in very poor body condition (bottom photo). With proper veterinary care and nutrition, Remi has been slowly regaining muscle, fat, and confidence!
