The Sanctuary at Equine Connection Center’s mission is as a nonprofit charity that supports the rescue, care, and welfare of equine animals in need in the state of Virginia.

Our home sanctuary at Equine Connection Center is located in Nokesville, Virginia and offers equine-assisted services to people of all ages and abilities. The sanctuary itself cares for fourteen rescued equine who will live out the rest of their lives on our farm, and also is part of the Virginia Partnership for Horses to promote equine welfare initiatives state-wide.

The Sanctuary at Equine Connection Center is a 501c3 nonprofit charity, established in 2025 as we further our commitment to helping as many horses, donkeys, and mules as possible. All contributions go directly toward the care of rescue animals living at the sanctuary as well as in support of these state-wide welfare initiatives when possible. Learn more here.
